Wearing tripartite wig, beard and broad floral collar, with modelled hands each carrying a mekes-symbol, below a winged sun-disc and a kneeling figure of a winged goddess, probably the sky goddess Nut, flanked by further protective symbols and deities with accompanying hieroglyphs, the painted decoration symbolising solar rebirth or Osirian afterlife, the insides of the coffin painted red, the floor with profile of the goddess of the West, two columns of hieroglyphs on the foot; and an accompanying glazed wooden display case

The sarcophagus is similar to other examples found in 1891 in Deir el-Bahri, Cache II. These sarcophagi are now mainly in European and American museums, with eighteen of them in unknown locations.
