A GRAECO-EGYPTIAN CORNELIAN DOUBLE INTAGLIO WITH HEAD OF MEDUSA

Obv. with the frontal head of the Gorgon, her hair entwined with snakes, rev. the standing triple-headed figure of Hecate, the goddess with three pairs of arms, two brandishing daggers and one pair holding whips, standing on a base underneath which are incised the letters IAW (Iaô), in later swivel ring setting
