A HELLENISTIC BRONZE LOTUS BOWL
CIRCA 2ND CENTURY B.C.
Of deep form, the exterior with overlapping lotus petals emerging from the flattened base, the petals with vertical ribbing and down-turned tips; and a Roman plainware pottery kantharos, the thin-walled squat body with wide cylindrical neck and twin grooved handles, 1st Century B.C./A.D.
2 7/8 in. (7.4 cm.) and 3 5/8 in. (9.2 cm.) high respectively (2)
