A WESTERN ASIATIC GREY POTTERY HORSE VESSEL
LATE 9TH-EARLY 8TH CENTURY B.C.
The horse standing with upright neck, surmounted by a tall rectangular bottle with everted rim, single loop handle at rear, decorated with incised linear motifs, restored; and a Persian painted pottery stemmed beaker, decorated with band of multiple zigzag below the rim and an ibex within three panels interspersed with geometric motifs, on raised flaring foot, repaired, 2nd millennium B.C.
