A ROMANO-EGYPTIAN GOLD CHILD'S BRACELET
CIRCA 1ST-2ND CENTURY A.D.
The plain hoop with terminals each in the form of a draped bust of a goddess, perhaps Isis and Nephthys, details incised, hook and eyelet attached on reverse of heads, 2 in. (5 cm.) diam.; a Roman enamelled bronze plate fibula, of oval form decorated with red and blue inlay, 2nd-3rd Century A.D., 1½ in. (3.8 cm.) diam.; an Early Iron Age boat-shaped bronze fibula, a knob projection at either side, 8th-7th Century B.C., 2 1/8 in. (5.4 cm.) long incl. pin; and three bead necklaces, one composed of mainly small cornelian beads, another of spherical iridescent glass beads, and the other of mainly cylindrical and flattened turquoise glazed composition beads, Egyptian to Roman period (6)
