A RARE ROMAN 'ENAMELLED' DARK BLUE GLASS VESSEL FRAGMENT
1ST CENTURY A.D.
With the lower part of a nude running figure of Eros(?) in opaque white glass with traces of a flowing garment in opaque turquoise glass, 1¾ in. (4.5 cm.) high; a Roman translucent cobalt blue glass mould-blown cup fragment depicting a spirited horse and rider with upraised left arm, from a 'Circus' cup, mid-1st Century A.D., 1¾ in. (4.2 cm.) high; a Roman green glass head of a maenad in high relief, 1st-2nd Century A.D., 1 1/8 in. (3 cm.) high; and three Roman iridescent glass child bracelets, composed of yellow and black glass twisted trails, opaque cream iridescence, one repaired, circa 4th-5th Century A.D., 1¾ in. (4.5 cm.) diam. av. (6)
