An Arita blue and white shallow bowl and two dishes
Late 17th/Early 18th century
With shaped rim, painted with a fenced garden of peonies, pine and rockwork, within a broad band of trailing peonies and fruit sprays, broken and repaired, 26.5 cm. diam.; a blue and white Kraak style dish with a central river scene, rim crack, 21 cm. diam.; and a further blue and white dish decorated to the centre with a phoenix perched on rockwork in a flowering garden, repaired, 21 cm. diam.
