An Arita blue and white dish
Circa 1700
Painted to the centre with a jardinière of peonies on a terrace within a border of chrysanthemum sprays and scrolling foliage, hairline rim crack, 32 cm. diam.; and a further Arita blue and white dish decorated to the centre with a shaped panel of a flowering jardiniere within border panels of flowering gardens and landscapes of pine and rockwork, 31.5 cm. diam.
