An Arita blue and white footed dish and a small shoki Imari saucer
The first early 18th century, the second circa 1620-30
The first with shaped rim, painted with a sage crossing a bridge before a pavilion in a rocky river landscape, the rim with cartouches of crane in flight on grounds of geometric and overlapping petal design, 15 cm. diam; the second shallow saucer dish with shaped rim, painted with a central lotus roundel and butterflies to the rim, 13 cm. diam. (2)
