The first late 17th Century, the second 18th Century with late 17th Century cover
The Arita jar painted in underglaze blue, iron-red, yellow and green enamels with peonies, prunus blossom and chrysanthemums issuing from rockwork, the shoulder with bands of lappets and geometric designs, hole to base and star crack, 26.5 cm. high; and a similar Dutch Delft ovoid jar after the Japanese original with Arita cover, cracked, 32 cm. high (2)
