Painted in underglaze-blue, iron-red and enriched in gilt, with a vase of flowering peony and camellia on a terrace, the everted rim decorated with three shaped cartouches enclosing peony, chrysanthemum and scrolling foliage, pierced with two small apertures opposite the cut-out section, the reverse with three sprays of flowers
