Meiji Period, the teabowls 19th/20th Century
Two teabowls glazed in a dark brown tone, one covered in an additional layer of a greyish cream glaze, the second with a rusty brown stripy pattern, and a bowl with a pinkish white crackled glaze, 10.2 cm. diam. - 12.5 cm. wide; a Chinese Guan-type small cong, 12 cm. high; three brown-glazed tea-caddies of cylindrical, ovoid and globular form, covered in different tones of brown glazes, two with greenish cream patches and splashes around the shoulders, ivory lids; and two boxes and covers, one modelled as Hotei, the other as a fruit, small chips, 4.3 cm.- 10.2 cm. high (4)
