Lot Essay

The sheet is not laid down and attached to the mount by tape at the upper edge and lower corners. The sheet has discoloured slightly and there is scattered foxing, visible in the catalogue illustration. There is some staining from an old acidic mount at the extreme edges. The watercolour is fitted into an acid free mount.

The colours are brighter than in the catalogue illustration.
