A GROUP OF THREE CHINESE EXPORT PORCELAIN ELEPHANT CANDLEHOLDERS
First Half 19th Century
A smaller pair modelled in mirror image with their heads turned to the side, on their backs and floral-decorated saddlecloths and saddles beneath the candleholders together with later ormolu bases, the larger an iron-red beast standing foursquare and wearing similar trappings, all with gilt details to their wrinkly hides
The larger 7½in. (19cm.) high, the smaller 6in. (15cm.) high (5)
