A PAIR OF ROUEN FAIENCE FACETED DEMI-LUNE BOUGHPOTS AND INTEGRAL COVERS
Circa 1750, embossed script E. mark to the back of both
Each top with a large semi-circular opening at the back and two concentric semi-circles of apetures of five and six holes each, the front typically painted in a bright palette with branches of stylized flowers issuing from rockwork amidst pomagranates and carnations, insects buzzing overhead
