An Indian carved red sandstone panel
North India, second half 18th Century
each side carved with a central vase issuing scrolling tendrils terminating in stylised flowers flanking a central column of palmettes, one side with a border of meandering leaves linking flowerheads, the other with quatrefoil rosettes -- 36 x 25in. (91.3 x 63.4cm.), (small repair break to one lower corner, one side slighly weathered, slight damages).
