Two Iznik dishes
Ottoman Turkey, circa 1630-40
each with sloping rim and short foot, painted to the centre with sprays of tulips and carnations around an inverted saz leaf, within borders of scattered flowerheads and foliate panels of demi-flowerheads -- 10in. (25.5cms) and 11¾in. (29.8cms) diam, (some chips and cracks).
