拍品專文

The crumbling ruins of the great hexagonal forecourt at the front of the Temple of Jupiter, between the portico at the entrance and the main court. The higher walls towards the back left of the image suggest these are part of the façade of the temple itself, which was situated on a raised podium behind the two courts.
