(21.4 x 28.1cm.) or reverse; one 4-part panorama of Greece, 7 x 40in. (19 x 101cm.) Many credited and/or titled and/or numbered in negatives, including Scowen (8), Miller (1), G. Berggren (34), Bonfils (20), H. Agius (12) Achille Mauri or A.M. (24), Bruno Gius (4), T. Langl (1), Oscar Kramer (23), J. Stauda (6), Linares (7), Hauser Y Menet (6) and A Esplugas (6); majority numbered sequentially and a few titled in pencil on mounts; many titled in pencil on reverse of mounts. Each mounted one-per-page. Red half leather, gilt, gilt title on front cover and spine. (9)

Ceylon (19) titles include A Street in the Pellah, Colombo; Hindoo temple, Colombo; Native Hut; Patty Fields Badula; Kandy from Lady Horton's Walk; Coffe[e] Estate; Portmore Lindoola, Coffee Clearing; Rek Teer View on the Maunaya Luci; Banyan Tree at Negamro; Ficus Elastica (India Rubber); Giant Bamboos at Peradeniya; Artocarpus Integrifolia (Jak-Tree); Cabbeeye Palms at Peradeniya; Liberian Coffee blossom (illustrated); and Kandy Lake. Also four images of Hong Kong and 15 of Canton, including Cantonese Mandarin and His Wife by Miller, Tomb near Foochow by an unknown photographer, c.1865, harbour and street scenes, Pearl River and waterfront views.

Varied images of Tunisia, Turkey, Syria and Lebanon include general town/city views, architecture and interior studies, waterfront scenes, street merchants and portraits. Interesting portrait and costume studies by Bonfils (4) include a man in prayer and a Syrian Muslim woman. Other sites include Malta, Naples, Pompei, Taormina and Moscow.
