in original purple and white silk lace trimmed frock, dark eyes, lying in a purple and white basket work pram with orange and blue painted wood wheels, as it is pulled along the baby squeaks while raising and lower his head, arms and legs --pram 17in. (43cm.) long (two wheels need reglueing, a few spokes missing and some silk distressed)

This doll was given by Queen Victoria to her game keeper's daughter Alberta Louise Cook when aged three, Miss Cook later became Mrs. Wickenden and was in service at Osbourne House from 1887 to 1901, during which time she met many member of the Royal Family.
