A large wooden dolls' house
of two stories with bay windows flanking the front door, four windows on each side, a mansal window on the centre of each side of the simulated slate roof and plain back with landing window, both back and front opening to reveal ten rooms with landing and halls, staircase, opening doors and fireplaces, on stand --65in. (165cm.) high, 50¾in. (129cm.) wide and 37in. (94cm.) deep, circa 1870 (paint striped and repapered)

Provenance
This house was owned and built for the Lancashire Gamble family children during the third quarter of the 19th century. Then came in to the possession of the St. Helens Pilkington glass family from 1932 until the present day.

This lot is subject to Collection and Storage Charges. No VAT will be charged on the hammer price, but VAT at 17.5% will be added to the buyer's premium which is invoiced on a VAT inclusive basis
Further details
The proceeds from the sale of this dolls house will be donated to the St. Helen's Village Retirement Project in St. Helen's, Lancashire, where the dolls' house originated from.
