Profusely engraved and gold-encrusted with scenes of flying dove, jacksnipe and a pintail duck, all by Fugger from drawings by Francis Lee Jacques, in their naturalistic habitats, the triggerguard gold-encrusted with a pintail duck motif, the action-receiver and furniture engraved with bold foliate-scrolls, stylized acanthus leaves and oak leaves on a matt ground, retaining virtually all blued finish, highly-figured stock with pistolgrip (stock cracked at the hand) and ventilated top-rib, intermediate bead-sight, scroll-engraved breech-end and Cutts compensator, under-stock with engraved silver monogram 'RBA' plate
