Tasting note: First tasted at Gaja's in 1994: deep, plummy; lovely vinosity; spicy, tannic. Next, two years later: low-keyed, soft; fairly sweet, fullish, good fruit, good tannin and acidity. Most recently: ruby; assertive fruit, lean, tannic. Very good with beef. Last tasted at a Rodenstock dinner, Sept 1998 ***(*) M.B.
