After an antique form, the cup-shaped bowl with two short handles, decorated in blue overlaid on matt white with classically-draped figures including a dancing Bacchante holding a staff and a wine-cup and a standing male figure and a seated female figure at discussion flanked by stylised anthemion motifs and scrolls all beneath a berried laurel garland, the rims and handles enriched in gilding
