A Minton pâte-sur-pâte plate
Circa 1892, crowned globe mark in green
Decorated by Marc Louis Solon with a nymph wearing loose drapes, seated on a chair with Cupid seated on a stool before her, both holding wool from a spindle, signed, within a pale-green band decorated in pale-blue with coronet shaped motifs issuing foliage, the border gilt with circles (flaking to gilding and glaze scratches)
9½ in. (24.1 cm.) diam.
