A Minton pâte-sur-pâte blue-ground rectangular plaque
Circa 1880
Decorated by Marc Louis Solon with a nymph wearing loose robes, walking on tip-toe, Cupid before her tugging at one of the ribbons of her dress, holding an arrow in his right hand, framed to one side by a horizontal arrow entwined with ivy suspending a vertical band of foliage, signed, within gilt wood frame
The plaque 10 in. (26 cm.) x 6 1/8 in. (15.6 cm.)
