A gilt-metal-mounted Sèvres-style cache-pot
Circa 1860, imitation Sèvres mark
Painted with three putti and a goat, the reverse with a flower-spray, within 'jewelled' and gilt cartouches on a turquoise ground, the mounts on the rim cast with an entwined ribbon, the foot applied with a band of berried laurel leaves above a footed base with canted corners (some rubbing and overpainting)
