A German porcelain rectangular plaque
Circa 1860, incised numerals and indistinct signature, indistinct script
Painted by T. Liedling (?) with a half-length portrait of a Spanish lady wearing cream head dress held in place with a pin, orange-red earings and beeded necklace, striped bodice with pink sleeves, and pink and cream shawl and skirt, modelled standing under an orange tree with her head held slightly to one side, her arms folded, holding a fan in her left hand, signed (slight glaze deterioration and very minor surface scratches, bottom edge of plaque chipped)
