Late 19th century, blue sceptre and stencilled red orb mark, impressed A S. 720
Modelled with Vulcan seated on rocks and beating a golden arrow on an anvil, wearing a yellow-lined russet robe, his breastplate, gilt sword and silver and gilt plumed helmet at his feet, Venus standing at his side, scantily clad in a loose pale-pink lined pale-yellow robe, Cupid behind her reaching for an arrow in her hand, on a rockwork mound base on a circular plinth enriched with gilt scrolls
