A Meissen flower-encrusted centrepiece
Circa 1880, blue crossed swords and cancellation mark, incised No.2772., Pressnummer, probably decorated outside the factory
The pierced shell-moulded shaped oval dish painted to the interior with loose sprays of flowers and scattered sprigs, supported by a stem around which dance a gentleman and companion, wearing eighteenth century dress, on rocky oval base moulded with scrolls and foliage (minor damages and restoration)
19 in. (48.2 cm.) high
