A Meissen model of a Wickelkind
Late 19th century, blue crossed swords and cancellation mark, Pressnummer 58, incised numerals, probably decorated outside the factory
The infant wearing flowered bonnet with blue edging and pale-pink frills, tied with a blue bow and flowered nightshirt, with pale pink and white lace blanket, swaddled in a checked wrap tied with a pink bow and pinned to the bottom (top section broken off and glued, small chips)
16¼ in. (41.3 cm.) long
