Fully jewelled gilt movement, gilt three arm balance with suspension élastique, ruby cylinder escapement, two hammers striking on square section gongs via push repeat piece in the case band, silver engine turned dial with engraved Roman numerals and outer minute dot markers, blued steel hands, engine turned centre with aperture for phases of the moon, engine turned 4 baguettes case, wound and regulated through a gold cuvette; together with the original gold ratchet key, gold and blued steel setting pin and short gold chain, purpose made gold tooled red leather travelling case by Desoutter, Maddox Street, London. Case, dial and movement signed
