240Q, rhodium finished 27-jewel self-winding movement adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and five positions with Gyromax balance, 22k micro-rotor, fausses côtes decoration and stamped with the Poinçon de Genève, silver dial with applied gold batôn markers, moonphase aperture, subsidiary date, combined day-year and date-24-hour dials and dauphine hands, circular stepped case with glazed snap on back and setting pushers in the band, movement and dial signed.

Production of Ref:3940 began in 1985. The first twenty-five watches 770001-25 were chosen to celebrate the 225th aniversary of Chronometrie Beyer in Zurich. Watch No.1 was presented to Theodore Beyer and is in the Museum of Time Measurement in Zurich.
