All labels badly bin-soiled and damaged, some taped to bottles and misaligned, two with remains of labels only and one missing. Levels: three top, three just below top, five upper and one mid-shoulder
Tasting note: It has the extraordinary ability to exude not only an immediate cedary perfume but, very much a Lafite speciality, the way it opens up further avenues to fragrance and subtle by-paths, lingering in the mouth. Each time you pick up a glass you notice another facet of scent and taste. Five stars. Last tasted December 2000. MB.
