An 18th century agate composite intaglio
composed of two co-joined fragments, one carved as a lion, the other a Neo-Classical scene of a seated satyr with goat and a figure of Bacchus in the background presenting offerings, in early 19th century gold mount, with chased and engraved decoration to a reeded hoop.
