Two 19th century hardstone intaglio rings,
comprising: an oval sardonyx carved as the seated semi-nude figure of Psyche holding an amphora facing Pan who plays twin flutes, signed on the exegue NIXAEP; the second of oval banded agate carved as the figure of Venus in flowing robes holding a dove in one hand preceeded by Cupid, in later gold mount.
