Five 19th century hardstone intaglio rings,
comprising: an oval cornelian carved as the laureate head of a bearded man possibly Emperor Antonius Pius (138-161 AD), in gold ring mount the bezel reverse engraved with grasshopper motif; a cornelian intaglio carved as the head of Psyche in profile to the right in later swivel ring mount; an oval cornelian intaglio carved as the classical laureate head of a man in profile to the right, in later ring mount engraved Julius Caesar; a banded agate intaglio carved as the classical head of a young man in profile to the right, in later mount with knot design shoulders; and an oval cornelian carved as the classical female head with flowing locks, with indecipherable signature, cracked, in later ring mount.
