Eight 19th century fob seals,
comprising: a gold-mounted bloodstone engraved with the coat of arms of Lumsden, the domed mount with knot and shot handle; a gold cased oval chalcedony engraved with armorial, the handle modelled as a lion passant on a base with chased decoration; a rectangular cornelian engraved with the arms of Belches of Scotland, to a plain reeded handle, the mount with bead terminal; an early 19th century fob, the handle with quatrefoil pierced and reeded struts, the oval chalcedony seal engraved with bee hive and initial 'C'; an 18ct. gold fob seal, the oval matrix engraved with the crest and motto for Baron Gardner; a gold cased bloodstone engraved with Gothic intitials, the reeded mount with scroll handle; a rectangular cornelian, the matrix engraved with armorial, the domed fluted mount with bead terminal and stamped scroll-work handle; an oval glass intaglio depicting the bust of George Washington in profile to the right, in metal mount with scrolling handle; and a gold thimble with inscription, Sarah A. James, aged 14, 7th December 1884 With Granny's love.
