A pair of 19th century gold archaeological revival earrings by Melillo,
modelled in the Roman taste as the figure of Pan playing pipes and standing upon a floral cornucopia, with applied bead and wirework decoration, with traditional type tapering fitting, in original fitted wood case, the interior stamped GIACINTO MELILLO NAPOLI.
