A 19th century gold and mosaic bangle section,
the fine micro-mosaic depicting Aurora preceeding the chariot of Apollo, after the work by Guido Reni on the ceiling of the garden pavilion of Palazzo Rospigliosi, Rome, the curved panel with applied ropework edging and bead and wirework shoulders forming a zig-zag line with rosette corners, the back of the bangle has been removed and the hinges sawn off.
