With gilt brass movement, steel lever work, chain fusee, rectangular bellows, the engraved rectangular-shaped box with scalloped corners, entirely decorated with yellow, white and pink gilt floral, scroll, foliage, urn and cherub decoration, the outside of the oval lid centered by a finely detailed polychrome enamel hand-painted scene of two sailboats with mountains to the background and trees to the foreground, the inside of the lid with white enamel floral decoration to a blue enamel background, the oval lid opened by a slide in the front to reveal a finely detailed singing bird rotating on its axis that turns its head and flaps its wings, finely pierced and engraved floral and scroll decoration to the grill, accompanied by a fitted presentation box and key, case signed A.
