A SWISS PEARL-SET AND PARCEL-ENAMELLED GOLD SCENT-BOTTLE
Geneva, circa 1840/1860
Flattened gold flask with bulging lobed sides all over engraved with foliate and c-scrolls and trelliswork, the independent gold stopper surmounted by a pearl framed by translucent green enamelled gold leaves held by four pierced foliate gold arches one of which is attached to the bottle by a gold chain, the base of the flask chased with scrolling leaves enamelled in translucent green and with a frosted gold bead below
