Maria Anna Sophia of Saxony, third of the fourteen children of Elector Frederick Augustus II of Saxony (King Augustus III of Poland), was a granddaughter of King Augustus the Strong. She married Elector Maximilian III Joseph of Bavaria (1727-1777) in 1747.
