Lot Essay

Randolph, eldest son of George, 8th Earl of Galloway (1768-1834) and his wife, Jane (d. 1879), second daughter of 1st Earl of Uxbridge, married Harriet Blanche, seventh daughter of 6th Duke of Beaufort, K.G., in 1833 and had issue. Randolph was Lord Lieutenant of Kirkcudbrightshire 1828-1845 and Wigtonshire 1825-1851.
