Rectangular curved box of pocket-fitting shape, the convex cover and concave base engine-turned with reeded mandorla-shaped arches containing sheaves of wheat and foliage, the central arch on the lid chased and engraved with a lady in classical dress seated on a rock and holding a lyre, against a polished gold ground, the four sides with panels of horizontal reeding
