AN EASTERN MEDITERRANEAN CORE-FORMED GLASS AMPHORISKOS
Circa 2nd-1st Century B.C.
Dark purple in color, the conical body with sloping shoulders, a long cylindrical neck and inward-sloping rim-disk, with applied opaque yellow marvered thread attached at the rim and wound spirally along the neck and body, tooled into a festoon pattern in the middle of the body, with transparent green twin vertical handles and a knob base
