A GREEK GLASS BOTTLE
Hellenistic Period, Circa 1st Century B.C.
Opaque blue in color, the vessel cast, lathe-cut and polished, the pear-shaped body with a slightly concave base and a raised grooved band below the rounded shoulders, with a short cylindrical neck and wide rim-disk, slightly inward sloping on the upper surface, its outer and top edge grooved
