In an undated note to Sir Duncan Oppenheim, the artist wrote 'Well the changes have been very slight, as I said, but you will be the first to understand that it was essential for me to make these touches. It is now complete. If you're pleased by the picture let me know shortly, won't you? Any very frankly ...
