mid 19th century,
comprising: a Sir James Duke & Nephew green-ground cup and saucer, circa 1860, impressed hand mark, pattern no. 6/7695, both finely painted with lakes in mountainous landscapes reserved on the gilt-pebbled green ground; a pair of Sampson Bridgwood & Son trios, impressed marks, pattern no. 1001, the saucers painted with landscapes reserved on the gilt vermiculae ground; an English fawn-ground footed compote, circa 1845, the center painted with figures fishing on a lake and with reserves of camelias within a foliate scroll-pierced rim enriched with gilt morning glories; a pair of fawn-ground shaped-circular dishes with reserves of figures in landscapes; and two John Ridgeway footed low compotes, puce marks, pattern no. 5543, with cut flowers and shaped rims (13)
