Tulips, peonies, morning glory, narcissi and other flowers in a decorated vase on a ledge

On the basis of a transparency and a black and white photograph, Mr. Fred Meijer of the Rijksbureau voor Kunsthistorische Documentatie, The Hague, suggests an attribution to Galle and dates the composition to circa 1660 (written communication, 24 March 2003).
